  • WHAT: A Support group to learn and implement the steps of behavioral change for long-term weight loss.
  • WHEN: Fridays at Noon Pacific Time
  • FREQUENCY: Weekly
  • WHO: Anyone interested in managing their weight through behavior change, instead of dieting. This will be a small group- 10 maximum.
  • WHERE: Zoom
  • DURATION: 1 hour for 8 weeks.
  • COST: $55/session. 10% prepayment discount. May be reimbursable through some PPO Plans.

About the Facilitator

Dr. Candice Seti, Psy.D. Known in the community as "The Weight Loss Therapist," Dr. Seti is a California-licensed Clinical Psychologist, Certified Nutrition Coach, and Certified Personal Trainer. Dr. Seti is renowned for her expertise in applying cognitive therapy to weight loss and weight management and extensive knowledge of nutrition and exercise applications to a weight management program. This is an area Dr. Seti has been passionate for many years after her own weight loss experience. Dr. Seti is also an internationally best selling author of the book, Shatter The Yoyo, and, most recently, The Self-Sabotage Behavior Workbook.

What will I get out of this group?

This group is an opportunity to learn all of the skills you will need to create weight loss and weight management simply through your own behavior. It will focus on numerous different areas included in my Behave Away Obesity program including mealtime strategies, kitchen setup, mindful eating skills, preparing for situational issues, food prep, self-care, and problem solving. And it will all be done in a group environment to allow participants to support each other and work together.

Do I have to have done the Behave Away Obesity Program?

Absolutely not! This support group is beneficial for everyone looking to manage their weight, regardless of whether you've gone through the Behave Away Obesity program or not.

Do I have to be obese for this program?

Nope! This group is for anyone that wants to learn to manage their weight long-term without dieting.

Is this group therapy?

No, this is an education and support group. Each week, we will introduce new strategies and techniques and the group environment will provide opportunity for discussion, support, and connection.
